Slovenian School System
Structure
In Slovenia children attend primary school at the age of 4 or 5 years until the age of 14/15 years. .
After primary school they have to decide wether they go to high school for 4 years or do a vocational education.
After high school it is possible to study at a college or university.

Primary School
- children from 5/6 to 14/15 years of age

- special exams in 6th, 9th grade
- special days
- Saturday schools
- 9 grades
- 5 marks:
5 - excellent
4 - very good
3 - good
2 - satisfactory
1 - unsatisfactory
High School
- teenagers from 14/15 years
- usually 4 years
- secondary school - leaving examination
College
Degrees:
- Bachelor's
- Master's
- Doctorate's
